JESUS YOU'RE THE CENTER OF MY JOY - Richard Smallwood

CHORUS

Jesus, You're the center of my joy
All that's good and perfect comes from You
You're the heart of my contentment
Hope for all I do
Jesus, You're the center of my joy

VERSE 1

When I've lost my direction
You're the compass for my way
You're the fire and light
When nights are long and cold
In sadness, You're my laughter
That shatters all my fears
When I'm all alone, Your hand is there to hold

CHORUS

VERSE 2

You are why I find pleasure
In the simple things in life
You're the music in the meadows and the streams
The voices of the children, my family, and home
You're the source and finish of my highest dreams

VAMP

Jesus, You are the center of my joy

ENDING

Jesus, You are the center of my joy
Joy, of my joy

WHEN YOU BELIEVE - Mariah Carrey, Whitney Houston

Verse 1

Many nights we pray with no proof anyone could hear
And our heart's a hopeful song we barely understood
Now we are not afraid although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long before we knew we could

Chorus

Oh yes, there can be miracles when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracle you can achieve, when you believe
Somehow you will, you will when you believe

Verse 2

In this time of fear when prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds, too swiftly flown away
And now I am standing here, my heart's so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words, I never thought I'd say

Chorus

There can be miracles when you believe
When you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will, you will when you believe

Bridge

They don't always happen when you ask and
And it's easy to give in to your fear
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way safe through the rain
Thought of a still resilient voice, says love is very near

Chorus

There can be miracles
Miracles
When you believe
When you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
Somehow, somehow, somehow
Somehow you will, you will, when you believe

You will when you believe
You will when you believe
Just believe
You will, you will
Just believe
You will, when you believe

GOD ALWAYS SENDS RAINBOWS AFTER THE RAIN

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine,
after the rain

Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God’s always ready,
To answer your call

He knows every heartache,
sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
can calm every fear

Your sorrows may linger,
throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
in dawn’s early light

The Savior is waiting,
somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
and send you His love ..

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
“God always sends rainbows
after the rain.”

NO TIME FOR GOD

I knelt to pray but not for long.
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done.
My soul could rest at ease.

Now all day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends.
They’d laugh at me I’d fear.

“No time.  No time.  Too much to do.”
That was my constant cry.
No time to give to souls in need.
At last the time to die.

I went before the Lord, I came,
I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book.
It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said,
“Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down
But never found the time.”

GOD SAYS “YOU DIDN’T ASK, SEEK OR KNOCK”

I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish,
I didn’t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier came each task.
Why doesn’t God help me? I wondered,
He answered, “You didn’t ask.”

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn’t show me,
He said, “But you didn’t seek.”

I tried to come into God’s presence,
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
“My child, you didn’t knock.”

I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.

" IN THE PRESENCE OF ANGELS " - Roy Fields

This is a realm of Your glory
This is a realm of Your grace
I can feel Your mighty power
It is moving in this place

We’re in the presence of angels
With God’s glory on their wings
Like the voice of many waters
I can hear the angels sing

Holy, holy, holy, holy
Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy
Glory, glory, glory, glory

This is a realm of Your glory
This is a realm of Your grace
All my heart’s desire is to see Your face
